From Dear Diary to Journaling coach ~
What started as innocent “Dear Diary” entries became the foundation of a lifelong healing journey. Through the pages of a journal, I’ve learned to face heartbreak, rediscover self-love, and build a life rooted in authenticity. Now, I help others do the same.
MY STORY
My journey with journaling began as a little girl scribbling secrets in my diary. Later, in creative writing classes, I discovered the profound power of expression through words. I never imagined that simple habit would become my greatest tool for healing.
Fast forward to adulthood, someone I deeply cared about left my life, and I spiraled into sadness. Every day, I put on a mask to get through LIFE. Despite having a loving support system, I still felt empty.
Eventually, I reached out to a friend who connected me with a spiritual advisor. Through our conversations, I was reintroduced to my love of journaling. Each night, I began to journal again. Page after page, I uncovered something that had been missing all along: true self-love.
And that changed everything.
Why I Created
Think.Write.Heal
I2017 | While reading Eat Pray Love (a random Philly consignment shop find), I felt deeply connected to Liz’s(the main character) journey of emptiness turned self-discovery. I saw myself in her. Not in the details but in the healing process.
Through journaling, self-care, and daily reflection, I started coming back to myself. As I shared my tools with others, I realized this was bigger than me. I didn’t have to be “finished” to help others begin.
One night, while journaling, it came to me:
THINK. WRITE. HEAL.
Three words that capture the journey I’m still on.
I think. I write. I heal.
Three words that now guide the work I do.

I’m here to help you use journaling as a tool to express, explore, and evolve. Whether you're recovering from heartbreak, navigating burnout, or just trying to reconnect with your joy. Your journal can hold all of that. And I’ll help you build the relationship to get there.

meet your coach
Hey Hey, I’m Gelisa!
I wear many hats, but at the heart of everything I do is one mission: helping others reconnect with themselves through journaling, mindfulness, and movement with LOVE.
Over the years, I’ve studied yoga, meditation, sound healing, bodywork, and coaching. Not just as certifications, but as lived practices. Whether I’m guiding a journaling circle, facilitating a sound bath, or teaching yoga, I return to this truth: you are the sky, everything else is just the weather. You just need space to remind yourself.

Outside of work? I’m dancing or having a concert in my bedroom, reading books, and journaling next to my 12-year-old pup, Mixey.
