A Lesson from the leaves
There’s something about watching the leaves change that always get’s me. There is no fighting with the season, for the leaves. They don’t try to hold onto what they’ve outgrown. They simply let go.
Every year, the leaves reminds me that letting go isn’t always the end. Often times, letting go is making room for what comes next. Lately, I’ve been thinking about the things we carry with us solely because we’ve carried them for a long time. The old stories, expectations, habits, and versions of ourselves. The things that may have served us at one point, may not be meant to come with us into the next season.
So this month, I’m inviting you to take a lesson from the tress:
WHAT ARE YOU READY TO LET GO OF?
Not because it’s all bad or you have it all figured out. But because it’s time. Letting go is part of growth.
