Less Is More And More Than Enough
We live in a world that is constantly telling us to want more, do more, be more. And somewhere in the noise, we started believing that what we have isn't enough. But here's what I want you to sit with today: SOMETIMES, LESS IS MORE. A quieter life isn't a smaller life. A slower season isn't a wasted one. Choosing simplicity isn't settling, it's really the bravest thing you can do in a world addicted to excess.
If you ever catch yourself looking at your life and feeling like it isn't enough, I’d offer for you to pause and look at the things you're calling "less"? The roof over your head, the people who answer when you call, the peace you've fought hard to find, the ability to simply start over tomorrow. Someone, somewhere, is dreaming of exactly that. What feels ordinary to you is extraordinary to someone who can't even imagine it yet.
You don't have to have everything to have something beautiful. Sometimes the greatest abundance is learning to see the wealth already living in your "not enough”.
Gratitude has a funny way of doing that, shifting your lens just enough to show you what was always there. It doesn't require things to be perfect but it does asks you to look a little closer at what's already in your hands before reaching for what isn't.
So this month, I want to challenge you to resist the urge to measure your life against someone else's highlight reel. Resist the pull to shrink what you've built because it doesn't look like what you imagined. Your story is unfolding exactly the way it needs to and sometimes the most beautiful chapters are the quiet ones.
How about, less noise and less comparison. And in that less? You just might find more peace, more clarity, and more appreciation for the life you're already living.
Pick up your journal and finish this sentence:
"Sometimes I forget..."
Finish the sentence. Let it be messy, honest, and completely yours.
